Job Title: Infrastructure Planning Specialist
We are looking for a talented Infrastructure Planning Specialist to join our Development business at WSP UK. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and stakeholder needs.
About the Role:
- Support the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects, including highways, drainage, and utilities.
- Collaborate with clients, co-professionals, and design teams to ensure project deliverables meet quality and timeliness expectations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities and government agencies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in infrastructure planning.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and innovation within the team to enhance project outcomes.
Your Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Postgraduate experience and working towards Chartership or equivalent experience and responsibility.
- Knowledge of highway design, drainage strategy, flood risk assessment, utility design, and planning.
- Familiarity with hydraulics, hydrology, geotechnics, and building structures.
- Experience in managing projects, including developing project plans, coordinating tasks, and tracking progress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary Range: £50,000 - £75,000 per annum.
