Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our WSP UK team as a key member of our development infrastructure team. This role will involve working on some of the most prestigious developments in the UK, delivering projects such as EDF Energy Sizewell C and Cambridge Eastern Access.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of highway design, drainage strategy, and flood risk assessment. They will be responsible for producing infrastructure masterplans, site appraisals, technical reports, and construction drawings using relevant software including Info Drainage, Micro Drainage, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or PDS.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, life insurance, and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to concept studies/strategies/drawing packages, leading to planning applications, technical approval submissions, and construction issues.
  • Work on various development projects across all sectors and clients.
  • Liaise with clients, co-professionals, and design teams, and negotiate necessary outline and detailed technical approvals and statutory agreements.
