Job Title: Radiography Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiography Specialist to join our team at the NHS. As a key member of our Healthy Bones service, you will be responsible for carrying out patient scans, analysis and diagnostic reporting of DXA scans.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable postgraduate experience in professional field and specialist proven knowledge and experience in DXA scan techniques, analysis of measurement data, and clinical interpretation.

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum.

About the Role
  • Undertake patient scans, analysis and diagnostic reporting of DXA scans.
  • Provide lifestyle advice to patients and information on treatment options.
  • Support the Healthy Bones Consultant Practitioner (Clinical lead) in their role.
  • Support day to day delivery of operational service, contributing to the overall smooth running of the Healthy Bones department by identifying areas of improvement and bringing these to the attention of the Clinical Lead.
  • Participate fully in clinical audit / clinical governance.
