About the Job

Appoint Healthcare is seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to lead our Brain Injury Unit in Newport, South Wales. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in developing and implementing treatment models and supporting best practices for neuropsychiatric care.

The unit provides tailored, high-quality rehabilitation care to adults with neuropsychiatric disorders, acquired brain injuries, and degenerative neurological conditions. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for patients and their families.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans and behavior support strategies for patients.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team.
  • Participate in an on-call rota and deputise for the Hospital Director when required.
About You

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • A valid and clear NMC PIN.
  • Experience working in a similar role or environment.
