HR Adviser Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations processes and legislation to line managers.
  • Support the management of short-term sickness absence cases, including involvement in meetings.
  • Assist with the preparation and participation in investigations, disciplinary, capability, grievance meetings, and appeals.
  • Manage family processes, such as maternity and paternity leave.
  • Support probationary processes and reviews.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve the employee experience and retention.
  • Monitor and update HR policies to ensure compliance with current legislation.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Support the implementation and delivery of HR initiatives, projects, and programs related to our people strategy.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations.
  • CIPD completed or ongoing.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate positively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive and positive approach.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel to London and Yorkshire.
