Neighbourhood Services Director

This role requires a highly skilled Neighbourhood Services Manager to lead a team of professionals in the not-for-profit and charities sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Secretarial & Business Support, ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding housing management services, including tenancy management, allocations, and community safety.
- Proactively monitor and report on performance, ensuring the team meets key performance indicators.
- Guide, manage, and inspire the team to deliver a proactive and customer-focused service.
- Lead safeguarding across the business, developing and implementing strategies to optimise neighbourhood services.
- Maintain positive relationships with the community and stakeholders, overseeing the management of resources and budget.
- Act as a point of contact for any issues or concerns, fostering a supportive and inclusive team environment.
- Stay informed on industry developments and implement best practice.
A successful Neighbourhood Services Manager should have:
- Excellent level of housing law and practice knowledge, including anti-social behaviour and enforcement.
- Excellent understanding of housing management principles and practices.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects.
