We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, or Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team as Clinical Nurse Assessors. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work flexibly, providing expert clinical assessments and reports to support individuals with disabilities or health conditions.

About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will conduct thorough assessments, gathering evidence and information to produce comprehensive reports that help inform benefits eligibility decisions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to gather detailed information about an individual's condition and its impact on their daily life.
  • Produce high-quality Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports that accurately reflect an individual's capabilities and limitations.
  • Cultivate your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through ongoing training, feedback, and supervision.

Requirements

  • Valid NMC registration number.
  • At least 1 year of post-registration adult or mental health experience gained within or outside the NHS.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK – we cannot offer sponsorships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
