About the Role

We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting unit managers and clinical staff on moving and handling practices and procedures, ensuring compliance with best practice and national guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have experience in moving and handling training with a relevant healthcare qualification and thorough knowledge of clinical moving and handling practices in an acute and community setting. Applicants lacking healthcare qualifications but possessing relevant experience in service provision in a healthcare environment may also be considered.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support unit managers and clinical staff on moving and handling practices and procedures
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure education and training aligns with best practice and legislation
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of moving and handling training programs
Key Requirements

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills. A strong understanding of moving and handling legislation and best practice is essential. Experience working in a similar role within the NHS would be advantageous.
