Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our team at East Kootenay Hospital in Cranbrook, BC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing various diagnostic cardiac procedures, including ECG testing, stress testing, and Holter monitoring. Your expertise will help us provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our department.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform ECG testing, stress testing, and Holter monitoring using various diagnostic cardiac equipment
* Explain procedures to patients and answer their questions
* Analyze and record relevant data for interpretation by cardiologists and/or internists
* Monitor patients and scan test strips during cardiograms and stress tests
* Transfer and assign ECGs in ECG Cardiology Management systems for interpretation by medical staff
* Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
* Participate in Quality Management and/or Quality Assurance programs
