About Our Client

Sadler Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of IT to lead our client's technology transformation journey. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a forward-looking IT strategy that aligns with the company's business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a small IT team, ensuring strong collaboration and personal development.
  • Technical Expertise: Be a hands-on leader, guiding your team through technical challenges and offering direct support when needed. Oversee IT infrastructure across multiple sites, ensuring reliability, scalability, and effective support for all locations.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control. Manage IT procurement processes, ensuring best value for money.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring that the firm receives high-quality, cost-effective IT services.
  • Visionary IT Strategy: Develop and implement a forward-looking IT roadmap with rigid processes and KPIs aligning with business goals and preparing the company for future growth and technology advancements.
  • Digital Transformation: Lead the adoption of new technologies and drive digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, client service, and innovation within the firm.
  • Project Management: Lead IT projects from planning through to execution, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with company needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Senior IT Lead role, with hands-on technical expertise.
  • Experience of working across a fast-paced multi-site business is desirable.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Strong current experience of IT infrastructures, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and data management.
  • MS 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
  • MS SQL 2008/2017
  • IOS Mobile Phone Admin e.g. Intune (setup and support)
  • Wi-Fi networks
  • Integration of complex systems using APIs
  • Experience with IOS 9001, ISO27001, 2015 Management System.
