Lead Our Private Client Department

HCB Widdows Mason is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head our Private Client department. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to shape and grow our Private Client practice, ensuring exceptional client care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Leadership: Grow, lead, manage, and mentor the Private Client team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Client Portfolio: Build and maintain a strong client portfolio, providing expert advice on wills, trusts, estates, and probate matters.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the practice and expand our client base.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and industry regulations.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of team performance and client satisfaction, implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Business Development: Represent the firm at networking events, seminars, and other business development opportunities.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to identify cross-referral opportunities and promote integrated services.
  • Financial Management: Oversee fee management, budgeting, and financial performance of the department.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within a Private Client context.
  • Business Development Skills: Razor-sharp business development skills.
  • Private Client Law: Strong knowledge of private client law, including wills, trusts, and probate.
  • Interpersonal and Management Skills: Excellent interpersonal and management skills.
  • Growth Strategies: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement growth strategies.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Matters: Proficient in compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Communication and Networking: Strong communication and networking abilities.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant legal qualifications and a solid track record of client service excellence.
