About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join our team in the Ophthalmic Theatres at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.
Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team on a shift basis
- Participate in a structured competency-based programme to develop your skills and knowledge

Person Specification
- Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner with current qualification and NMC/HCPC registration
- Significant experience of working in a theatre environment
- Experience of supporting and developing staff and students within the clinical environment
