Job Title: Adult Care Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Adult Care Support Specialist to join our team at Apex Recruit Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of adults with learning disabilities, supporting them in their daily lives and helping them achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Independence: Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility support.
  • Promote Well-being: Encourage participation in social, educational, and recreational activities, promoting independence and dignity for each individual.
  • Care Planning: Support individuals with personal care needs, including washing, dressing, and grooming, and help implement individual care plans.
  • Health Monitoring: Monitor and record health and well-being, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
  • Medication Administration: Assist in the administration of medications (if trained to do so).
  • Relationship Building: Build positive, trusting relationships with individuals, families, and other team members.
  • Environmental Safety: Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all service users.

Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum
