We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced social worker to join our Tendring Neighbourhood Team, working closely with adults to support independence and maximise potential.

The role involves assessing social care needs using a person-centred approach and contributing to the development of care and support plans for adults.

  • Managing a caseload of adults with complex needs, including assessment of risk through direct work, within a quality assurance process.

A driving licence and car - or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means - are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking part in case conferences, court attendance, meetings, and statutory reviews.
  • Providing advice and guidance in complex situations, modelling good practice and developing skills in accordance with current professional standards.

Requirements:

  • A qualified social worker with current Social Work England registration and post-qualified experience of at least 2 years.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and capability of practice in accordance with current professional standards.
  • An in-depth understanding of the financial implications of commissioned care packages and the ability to make clear decisions about intervention.
