Job Description

Long Term Futures Ltd is seeking an Educational Support Worker to join our team at one of our client alternative provisions in Chesterfield. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in shaping the educational journey of students with SEMH needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the teacher in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist students with daily tasks and activities, promoting independence and self-confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Requirements
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality educational support to students with SEMH needs.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate and two professional references that cover the last two years.
  • Able to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, demonstrating resilience and a can-do attitude.
