Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience in safeguarding, mentoring, counselling or SEMH, and be able to build trusting relationships with vulnerable learners. Key responsibilities include monitoring attendance, arranging home visits, and offering support in school. The successful Behavioural Support Officer will be responsible for managing the behaviour, attendance, and support for students across the school.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in safeguarding, mentoring, counselling or SEMH
  • Able to build trusting relationships with vulnerable learners
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Benefits:

This is a term-time only role based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of education experts and undergo compliance checks, including Prohibited list, Barred list, DBS, and Qualifications checks.

Salary:£25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
