Job Title: Resident Services Assistant

About the Role:

Dove & Hawk is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Services Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our property services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and a positive living experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Engagement: Engage with residents to create a sense of community within the development, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Property Services: Ensure communal areas and available apartments are well presented and appealing to prospective tenants at all times.
  • Customer Service: Respond to rental enquiries, book viewings, and agree offers, providing a high level of customer service to residents at all times.
  • Occupancy Management: Aim to achieve 97% and above occupancy, completing all applicant vetting and processing offers and tenancy documentation.
  • Communication: Provide weekly statistics on enquiries and produce market analysis on rents, ensuring up-to-date resident communication via various channels.
  • Community Events: Organize and run tenant services, seeking special offers and discounts for residents from local businesses, and creating a community feel through communication, events, and innovations.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Act as the first point of call for residents to report maintenance issues, coordinating all contractor appointments and defect warranty repairs.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Carry out regular inspections of communal areas and apartments, completing check-in and check-out reports, and determining deposit returns.
  • Health and Safety: Work alongside the Building Manager to ensure H&S statutory requirements are met across the development.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous BTR/Lettings/Property Management experience required.
  • Skills: Strong customer service background, ability to think on their feet, and make considered decisions with a common-sense approach.
  • Personality: Outgoing, warm, and friendly personality with a positive attitude, organized, meticulous, and tenacious.
  • Communication: Excellent written and spoken communication, IT literate, and social media savvy.
  • Financial Management: Strong financial management skills.

Working Hours: Usually Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (Occasional weekends, 5 over 7 days)

Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 DOE plus 10% discretionary bonus
