Deputy Home Manager

Job Overview: As a Deputy Home Manager at Aspris, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and development of young people in our North West England Children's Home.

About the Role: You will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager, providing guidance to staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the home. This includes managing shift patterns, conducting regular checks, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
  • Lead a small staff team, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Manage shift patterns, ensuring adequate staffing levels
  • Conduct regular checks on young people and their living areas
  • Maintain accurate records, including incident reports and medication administration

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People
  • A strong understanding of residential childcare principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with staff and young people
