Nuclear Material Control Technician Role

AWE Plc is seeking an experienced Nuclear Material Control Technician to join our team at our location in RG7 4PR.

Key Details:

  • Salary Range: £26,500 - £30,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
  • Working Pattern: A flexible 9-day fortnight with opportunities for flexible working arrangements
  • Location: RG7 4PR, between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking

About the Role:

The Nuclear Material Control Technician will be responsible for ensuring the safe handling, storage, and transportation of nuclear materials. This includes monitoring and controlling the movement of these materials, as well as performing routine checks and maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear materials and their properties
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
