Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full caseload and progress cases without supervision.
  • Expert technical knowledge and practical experience in residential and commercial conveyancing, mortgage work, and specialist areas such as leasehold enfranchisement and commercial leases.
  • 10% Raise the profile of the firm and attract new enquiries by networking, building and maintaining professional relationships and dealing with complaints.
  • 10% Training other members of staff; participating in own training and maintaining development plan and development record.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with current practising certificate and first-rate academic credentials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of stamp duty land tax, and VAT as they relate to property transactions.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: £30,000 to £55,000 negotiable after 12 months depending on performance.
  • Full-time Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week), but would consider 30 hours per week and/or non-standard office hours.
  • On-site parking.
