About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team at Morson Talent Careers in Capenhurst, near Chester. In this contract position, you will work as part of a multi-disciplined technical engineering team with core electrical, control, and instrumentation skills.

The successful candidate will provide maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, calibration, inspection, and modification of plant and process-related equipment in a safe, cost-effective, and reliable manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and ensure the health and safety of individuals, plant, and the environment to maintain high levels of personal safety, plant integrity, and environmental compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IEC, IEEE, or ISO.

Instrumentation Tasks

  • Undertake all aspects of instrumentation plant installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Work on process instrumentation and undertake commissioning and calibration of level transmitters (radar/ultrasonic), flowmeters (magflow/vortex/DP), pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters (RTD & thermocouple), pH/conductivity analysers, PID controllers, and gas monitors.
