Paediatric Community Nursing Lead

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our team as a Paediatric Community Nursing Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of paediatric patients, providing expert care and support in their own homes.

The ideal candidate will have a background in paediatric complex care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Paediatric Community Nursing Lead, you will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 12 patients, predominantly paediatric clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and external agencies to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Conduct regular supervisions and clinical assessments to maintain high standards of care.

Requirements:

  • RGN, RSCN, or RCN qualified with active NMC pin (paediatric experience essential).
  • A minimum of 3-5 years post-qualification experience in complex care or intensive care settings.
  • Prior experience in community nursing is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Benefits:

  • £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + mileage (45p per mile)
  • 24 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays and birthday off)
  • Eligibility for up to 5% bonus based on clinical and organisational performance
