Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Secretary to join our Ophthalmology Service at Peterborough City Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to medical staff and ensuring the smooth running of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to medical staff and nurse specialists
  • Manage enquiries from internal and external agencies
  • Liaise with other departments within the Trust to ensure seamless service delivery
About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational and communication skills. You will be working closely with medical staff, nurse specialists, and other departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Requirements
  • Good general education, preferably English Language to GCSE (or equivalent)
  • Experience of using Careflow (Patient Admissions System) database, e-track, Evolve, Epro/Winscribe, ANGLIA ICE
  • Competent use of MS Word and good written and verbal communication skills
