**Residential Youth Care Specialist**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Youth Care Specialist to join our team as a Deputy Manager. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with complex care needs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist the manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the statement of purpose.
- Deputise in the absence of the registered manager.
- Support and manage staff to enable them to meet the needs of children and young people.
- Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate.
- Manage child protection concerns and complaints.
- Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
**Requirements:**
- Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Working towards or holds a level 5 Diploma leadership and management residential childcare.
- Current full driving license.
- At least 3 years' experience in Residential children's Care which includes supervisory experience.
