Residential Care Team Leader

At CareTech Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Care Team Leader to join our team in the Hereford and Worcester region. As a Complex Care Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people who have experienced challenging circumstances and adverse conditions.

We provide residential care for children and young people who require a holistic and trauma-informed approach to support their well-being and development. As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with our clinical and educational colleagues to improve outcomes for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the statement of purpose.
  • Deputise in the absence of the registered manager.
  • Support and manage staff to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people.
  • Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate.
  • Manage child protection concerns and complaints.
  • Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.

Requirements:

  • Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Working towards or holds a level 5 Diploma leadership and management residential childcare.
  • Current full driving license.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Residential children's Care which includes supervisory experience.
