We are looking for a highly motivated Project Estimator to join our team in Colchester. As a CAD Estimator at Prime Appointments, you will play a key role in evaluating drawings to produce accurate take-offs/mark-ups of the project and producing accurate quotations that reflect the clients' requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, knowledge of software such as Bluebeam and CAD, and strong Excel skills. They must also be able to work methodically and focus on customer service. A good knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs is also essential.

In this role, you will liaise with customers answering any questions in a professional and timely manner, make occasional visits to site to provide support if required, and attend internal 'project handover meetings' with Design and Production teams. You will also need to update internal systems to reflect the status of each enquiry/quotation.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £55,000 per annum, based on the location and industry standards. Benefits include 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, a subsidised on-site canteen, healthcare scheme, profit-related and performance-related bonuses, and free on-site parking.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, core hours being 9.00am to 5pm. Candidates who require sponsorship now or in the future or who are not already resident within an easy commute of Colchester will not be considered for this vacancy.
