SpLD Assessment and Learning Support

We are seeking an SpLD Assessment and Learning Support professional to join our team at Oaklands College. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing student needs and developing individualized learning plans, working closely with teaching staff to develop good practice in supporting students.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SpLD assessment and learning support, with excellent planning, organizational, administrative, and IT skills. They will also possess the ability to inspire and promote independence for further study, preparation for adulthood, and empower learners through appropriate support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and develop individualized learning plans
- Provide 1:1 and group support to students with learning difficulties
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop good practice in supporting students
- Use data systems such as Pro Solutions and Pro Monitor to track student progress
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Level 5 or 7 qualification in SpLD to assess for Exam Access Arrangements
- A qualification in literacy, numeracy Autism, Mental Health, LDD, or ESOL
- Experience and proven success in providing learning support to students with learning difficulties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
