As a SpLD Tutor and Assessor, you will play a crucial role in supporting and educating students with a range of Additional Learning Needs. Conducting specialist diagnostic assessments for adults and/or young people, you will use your expertise to administer standardized tests and observational methods to evaluate students' reading, writing, and mathematical skills.

You will be part of a talented team at New City College, one of the strongest and most influential further education organizations in the country. With a turnover of £105m, 20,000 students, and 1900 staff, we offer a dynamic and supportive learning environment that prepares students for progression to higher education or successful careers.

To succeed in this role, you will need a Level 7 SpLD qualification, current Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC), and experience in working with teams of support professionals to ensure every student receives the best possible educational experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to relate knowledge with passion and fun will be essential in this role.

  • Estimated Salary: £42,133 - £49,335 per annum FTE
