About Us

Randstad Care is a leading provider of exceptional educational experiences to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We seek a compassionate Support Worker to provide individualised support to students with learning disabilities and complex communication needs in an education setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with learning disabilities and complex communication needs.
  • Assist with implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure holistic student development.
  • Support social skills, independence, and academic development through collaborative working with professionals.
  • Facilitate a safe, positive learning environment that promotes student well-being.
  • Assist with personal care needs as required, ensuring dignity and respect for all students.
  • Monitor and document student progress to inform future support strategies.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children or young people, preferably in education or care.
  • Understanding of SEND best practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Experience supporting people who are non-verbal communicators, using alternative methods to engage and support.
  • Ability to impart knowledge and share your own hobbies and interests to engage young people and support a nurturing environment.
