We seek a compassionate Support Worker to provide individualised support to students with learning disabilities and complex communication needs in an education setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with learning disabilities and complex communication needs.
- Assist with implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure holistic student development.
- Support social skills, independence, and academic development through collaborative working with professionals.
- Facilitate a safe, positive learning environment that promotes student well-being.
- Assist with personal care needs as required, ensuring the dignity and respect of students.
- Monitor and document student progress to inform future support strategies.
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in education or care.
