Residential Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Randstad Care. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people in their daily lives, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with the child and their family to ensure their needs are met.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and support children in their educational and recreational activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Basic knowledge of child development and behavior, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
