Global Sales Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the education sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients across the UK, EMEA, and APAC regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and exceed sales expectations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including library and faculty leaders
- Work closely with management to provide leadership within the sales team and foster a collaborative work environment
- Create and implement a tactical plan for assigned regions and accounts, emphasizing a holistic approach to sales
- Negotiate and close business opportunities with clients
Requirements:
- 5+ years successful sales/account management experience within academic publishing or edtech
- Able to close perpetual and subscription-based opportunities from £50-£500K
- Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Well-organized with good prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Happy with 30-40% international travel
