Job Description
  • Manage the Accounts Payable function, including processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
  • Reconcile aged creditors report at the end of each month
  • Perform month-end tasks such as bank reconciliation
  • Submit turnover figures to key customer groups monthly
  • Calculate and issue customer rebates
  • Answer telephone calls directed to the Accounts department
  • Set up new customer accounts in our computer system, including credit checks
  • Chase payments via phone, email, and written communication
  • Support credit control by sending chasing letters
  • Process credit card payments from smaller customers
  • Respond to customer queries regarding account details
  • Resolve invoice-related queries by investigating discrepancies and raising credit notes
Requirements
  1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Accounts/Finance role
  2. Confident and enthusiastic telephone manner
  3. Enjoy communicating with customers over the phone and willing to chase payments
  4. Highly organized and efficient
  5. Strong numeracy skills
  6. Experience utilizing ICT effectively
  7. Excellent literacy and communication skills
  8. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  9. Team player with ability to work independently
