Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organised Administrative Support Specialist to join our progressive company in the central area of St Albans.
This role offers a range of administrative support to clients and colleagues within a friendly and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely updates to systems and clients are maintained at all times
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and escalate any issues that may arise
- Work efficiently towards deadlines
- Maintain regular contact with clients, keeping them informed of progress
- Process payments through BACS and credit cards
- Ensure the Sales Day Book is up-to-date at all times
- Verify and balance client bank accounts, advising the team of payments received
- Prepare invoices for payment and create reports for the Director
- Handle all queries related to invoices and payments
- Raise balancing invoices as required
- Raise manual invoices as necessary for relevant bank clients
- Previous experience in customer service and administration
- Attention to detail, including basic accountancy skills
- Numerical skills
- Able to organise and prioritise workload
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organisational and process skills
- Good team working ability
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Office Products
The salary for this position is £24,500-£26,500 per year, depending on experience. Part-time hours over 5 days will be considered. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm, with 25 days holiday plus 2 extra days to be taken at Christmas. We also offer fantastic training and ongoing support, as well as a pension scheme.
