About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Early Career Researcher to join our multidisciplinary team at the University of Leicester. This exciting opportunity is part of our wider Kidney Lifestyle Research Programme (KLRP), focusing on implementing and evaluating lifestyle self-management resources for kidney patients and healthcare professionals in primary and secondary care.

As a key member of the Leicester Kidney Lifestyle Team (LKLT), you will contribute to designing, testing, and disseminating innovative health interventions. Our research explores the mechanisms underlying the effects of lifestyle interventions in chronic kidney disease and develops strategies for implementing these interventions in clinical practice.

The successful candidate will have a relevant health science degree and experience in testing digital health interventions. You will draw on your knowledge of qualitative research and implementation science methodology, including ethics and regulatory applications, data methodologies, and practical experience in health research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research studies to evaluate lifestyle self-management resources
  • Developing and testing digital health interventions
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement research findings

Requirements:

  • Relevant health science degree
  • Experience in testing digital health interventions
  • Knowledge of qualitative research and implementation science methodology

What We Offer:

  • Full-time or job share considered, fixed-term contract for 24 months commencing March 2025

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
