We are seeking a skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at the Stoneygate Centre for Empathic Healthcare, University of Leicester. About the Job

In this role, you will design, deliver, and ensure the quality of research projects in medical education, focusing on empathic healthcare. Your work will be disseminated at national and international conferences, contributing to the growth of the field. Additionally, you will mentor PhD students and junior researchers, promoting their professional development and public engagement.

About the Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline. For the Grade 7 position, you are expected to have an emerging track record of delivering research projects on time and be nationally/internationally respected in your field. Experience in developing research models and methods, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Experience in securing research funding and managing budgets is also required if you are expecting to be appointed at Grade 8.
