Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Medical Education and Training. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of educational programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of medical professionals in the specialty of Paediatric Cardiology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of medical professionals in Paediatric Cardiology.
  • Lead the training and development of doctors who will strive for the highest standards of patient-centred care and commit themselves to a lifetime of professional development.
  • Work with the Head of School to produce doctors who will excel in their roles and contribute to the improvement of healthcare services.
Requirements
  • A primary clinical healthcare qualification.
  • Current working experience at consultant level or equivalent in the specialty school area.
  • Considerable experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
