Innovation Projects Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Innovation Projects Advisor to join our team at Northern Powergrid. As a key member of our stakeholder engagement team, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering innovative projects that support our business obligations and decarbonisation goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Design and deliver a range of stakeholder engagement opportunities, including conferences, focus groups, surveys, and roundtables.
- Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure the business is actively responding to stakeholder insights and intelligence.
- Lead the development and maintenance of our digital spaces to share information and support stakeholder learning.
- Provide professional advice to colleagues on engagement approaches for key projects and bespoke pieces of work.
- Established stakeholder management expertise, including stakeholder mapping, audience segmentation, and positive relationship building.
- Demonstrable experience developing and delivering stakeholder engagement opportunities in large-scale complex industries.
- Excellent programme management and tactical engagement planning skills.
- Digital expertise and creative approaches to ensuring maximum stakeholder engagement through digital content.
- Experience working closely with professional and executive level staff and external stakeholders.
- A competitive salary between £30,000 - £40,000.
