About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Innovation Projects Specialist to join our team at Northern Powergrid. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our innovation agenda and ensuring the successful delivery of our business obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a wide range of stakeholder engagement opportunities across both face-to-face and digital spaces.
  • Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure the business is actively responding to insight and intelligence from stakeholders.
  • Take a lead on developing and maintaining our digital spaces to share information and support stakeholder learning.
  • Provide professional advice to colleagues in developing engagement approaches for key projects or bespoke pieces of work.
Requirements
  • Established stakeholder management expertise, including stakeholder mapping, audience segmentation, and positive relationship building.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and delivering stakeholder engagement opportunities in large-scale complex industries.
  • Excellent programme management and tactical engagement planning skills.
  • Digital expertise and creative approaches to ensuring we are maximising opportunities to support stakeholders through digital content.
  • A minimum GCSE or equivalent in English Language and Maths.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary between £30,000 - £40,000.
