Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Belong Newcastle-Under-Lyme. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist residents with meal times, including serving meals and snacks, and ensuring they have access to fluids and medication as required.
- Support residents with their daily routines, including helping them to get up and dressed, and assisting with mobility and transfers.
- Engage with residents in activities and hobbies, promoting their social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and families.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing situations, prioritizing the needs of residents and the care team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to promoting the dignity and well-being of residents.
- Previous experience in a care setting, with a strong understanding of the principles of person-centered care.
