Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our friendly, award-winning team as a Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, your focus will be to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring the well-being and dignity of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with all aspects of personal hygiene care, promoting independence and dignity at all times.
- Recognize and understand clinical risk areas, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and infections, and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
- Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting their individuality and dignity.
- Practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks.
To be successful in this role, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Experience is not required, as we offer a thorough induction and training program to ensure confidence in your role.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Initiative and respect towards residents and other team members.
- Efficient work habits and ability to carry out instructions from other team members.
- Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

This role requires a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is also required.
