Supporting Students with Special Needs

The Supply Register is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support to students with special educational needs in Stoke-on-Trent. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop inclusive lesson plans and assist with behavior management strategies and crisis intervention.
This role requires a strong understanding of various SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. A competitive daily rate of £87 per day (dependent on experience) and flexible work arrangements make this an attractive opportunity for experienced teaching assistants.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to students with SEN
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop inclusive lesson plans
- Assist with behavior management strategies and crisis intervention
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with SEN
