We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Support Assistant to support children with special educational needs in schools across Cannock and surrounding areas.

Job Details:
  • Estimated salary: £25,000 per annum
About the Role:

This SEN Support Assistant will provide invaluable support to pupils within the classroom, small groups, and one-to-one settings.

Key responsibilities include using positive reinforcement techniques and behavior-based instruction to promote learning and development, following individualized education plans (IEPs) to help students achieve their full potential, and assisting teachers with lesson planning, marking, and delivery.

Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications, such as Level 2 or 3 in Childhood Studies or a Teaching Assistant course.
  • Experience working in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school or setting.
  • Additional SEN training certifications, such as MAPA, Makaton, or Team Teach.
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with extra needs.
