About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our Lincolnshire EfW facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe, environmental compliance, and effective operation and maintenance of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure the facility operates efficiently and effectively.
- Implement and maintain the Company Health, Safety & Environmental Policy and develop Safe Working Practices to relevant HSE standards.
- Develop and implement financial budgets to meet company objectives and minimize operational and compliance risk.
- Act as the link between the council to deliver commercial and contractual interests of respective contracts.
- Implement Company Training and Development Policy to ensure continuous development, training, and improvement of personnel and team objectives.
Requirements
- Engineering degree educated with a proven track record in an EfW Management role.
- Strong technical background in EfW and Waste Management.
- Experience in identifying opportunities that add value to the bottom line and implementation through good project management skills.
- Strong leadership skills involving a multi-disciplined team.
- Commitment and determination to meet personal objectives.
