About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Adult Safeguarding Officer to join our dynamic team at Lincolnshire County Council. As an Adult Safeguarding Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of adults at risk of abuse or neglect.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the leadership of Safeguarding Principal Practitioners to perform statutory safeguarding duties set out in the Care Act 2014.
- Lead and coordinate working with other professionals to investigate and respond to safeguarding concerns.
- Assess and manage risk to ensure plans are in place to promote wellbeing, safeguard, and support the outcomes of individuals experiencing abuse or neglect.
- Develop and maintain a secure, sound understanding of adult safeguarding policies and procedures, including S42 enquires, Multi-Agency Safeguarding Panels (MSP), and the Care Act 2014.

Requirements
- Qualified and registered as a Social Worker, Nurse, or Occupational Therapist.
- Post-qualifying practice experience in adult safeguarding.
- A secure, sound understanding of adult safeguarding policies and procedures.
