About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safeguarding Officer to join our dynamic team at Lincolnshire County Council. As a Safeguarding Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of adults at risk of abuse or neglect.

Key Responsibilities

As a Safeguarding Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and coordinating enquiries relating to adults who are experiencing or at risk of abuse or neglect
  • Assessing and managing risk to ensure the safety and well-being of adults
  • Developing and implementing plans to promote wellbeing, safeguard, and support the outcomes of people experiencing abuse or neglect

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a professional Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy qualification and have maintained professional registration with the relevant professional body. You will also need to have some post-qualifying practice experience and a secure, sound understanding of the adult safeguarding arena, including S42 enquires, MSP, and the Care Act 2014.
