Job Title: First Response Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Response Officer to join our team at Remedy Social Care. As a First Response Officer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals and families, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use a strength-based, person-centred approach to develop creative and personalised solutions to assist individuals to manage their lives independently.
  • Encourage the use of direct payments as an option wherever possible and ensure that individuals and their families are at the centre of decision-making.
  • Actively engage with, assist, and provide advice to carers, conducting carer assessments when appropriate, to enable them to sustain their caring role.
  • Promote independence by taking a preventative approach to interventions, maximising the use of appropriate resources.
  • Undertake trusted assessment/provision functions to promote independence and offer access to standard equipment, where appropriate.
  • Make ongoing assessments of need and identify and process any safeguarding and quality of care issues.
Requirements:
  • QSW Status, including qualification, Social Work England registration, and completed ASYE.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Right to work in the UK.
