Job Title: Senior Social Worker - Children's Services

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children's Services team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families, including care planning, support, and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and present court reports for care proceedings
* Develop and implement care plans for children and young people
* Attend and chair Child Looked After reviews
* Conduct single assessments of parents and the potential risk to their child/children
* Work with parents with mental health issues, substance misuse, and domestic violence
* Work with children and families with learning disabilities
* Undertake Child Looked After visits
* Conduct Section 47 investigations
* Carry out duty work, making referrals and assessments
* Work with diversity
* Contribute to team working, supporting colleagues, covering for colleagues in their absence, and participating in team meetings
