Job Summary:
Hatched Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Youth Support Worker to provide guidance and support to care leavers in Tower Hamlets. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people who have suffered social exclusion and possess knowledge of child care legislation and Local Authority powers and duties.

About the Role:
As a Senior Youth Support Worker, you will be responsible for visiting and meeting with care leavers regularly to discuss their life goals and support their plans. You will provide information about opportunities and choices, encourage education, and offer advice on jobs, careers, and training. Additionally, you will support care leavers with health-related issues and provide knowledge on benefits and grants for care leavers.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct high-quality Pathway Assessments and Personal Educational Plans for care leavers
* Provide direct work experience with care leavers and support their transition to independence
* Develop and implement effective support plans to meet the needs of care leavers
* Collaborate with Local Authorities and other organizations to ensure seamless support for care leavers

Requirements:
* High standard of numeracy and literacy, ideally at further or higher education level
* Experience working with care leavers and knowledge of child care legislation and Local Authority powers and duties
* Ability to work in a multi-cultural, inner-city environment and provide support to young people who have suffered social exclusion
