About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Antill Road Day Service in Tower Hamlets. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, including severe learning and physical disabilities, complex healthcare, and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individuals to participate in a range of fulfilling and meaningful daytime activities, both at Antill Road and in the community.
  • Ensuring the health, wellbeing, and educational needs of individuals are met.
  • Providing physical, emotional, and social care, including supporting individuals with personal care and mobility needs.
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the team to promote independent living and encourage individuals to maximize their skills and choices.
  • Participating in support planning and risk management, as facilitated by the lead Support Worker.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, or experience in the social care/charity sector.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism, challenging behavior, or learning disabilities.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Training or experience with PBS Approach and Capable Environments framework.
